Meng Chao, Lecturer, Ph.D., Supervisor for MTI Program Candidates, Assistant Dean of the School of Foreign Languages at Northwest University of Political Science and Law (Xi’an), Director of the Department of English, and Deputy Director of MTI Education Center. He is a Member of the China Association of Forensic Linguistics, China Association for Comparative Studies of English and Chinese, and a Member of the Shaanxi Translators Association.

Dr. Meng’s main research areas are legal translation, forensic linguistics, and legal English teaching. He has been engaged in translation and English teaching for 18 years, and has been engaged in legal English teaching and legal translation teaching and practice for 14 years. In the past five years, he has published 3 academic papers in core journals of CSSCI such as Foreign Language Education, Technology Enhanced Foreign Language Education and Legal Education Research, published 5 translated books, participated in the compilation of 2 textbooks, and participated in 2 National Social Science Fund projects and 5 provincial and ministerial projects.
