窦坤 教授
Professor Dou Kun
窦坤,教授(三级),博士,硕士研究生导师。陕西省教学名师,英国朴茨茅斯大学访问学者,必赢线路检测3003no1院长。
主要研究领域为英语教育、法律翻译、外语教师教育及教育基本理论。代表著作《大学英语教学的实践哲学》,该书入选光明日报出版社高校哲学社会科学成果文库。在《人文杂志》《法学教育研究》《教育理论与实践》等核心学术期刊发表学术论文十余篇。担任主编、副主编或参编教材及编著5部。主持省级质量工程精品资源共享课1项。参与《武大国际法评论》和《中国促进国际法治报告(2021)》等期刊和著作的翻译工作。
获省级优秀教学改革成果一等奖1项,高等教育科学研究优秀成果三等奖1项。陕西省第三届课堂教学创新大赛一等奖,我校第二届课堂教学创新大赛一等奖。主持校级教改项目2项。参与省级课题3项。获我校师德先进个人,我校第五届教学名师等荣誉称号。
Professor Dou Kun (Ph.D.) is Supervisor for MTI Program Candidates and Dean of the School of Foreign Languages at the Northwest University of Political Science and Law (Xi’an). She is a visiting scholar at the University of Portsmouth (UK), and awarded the honor of “Distinguished Teaching Master of Shaanxi Province” by the Provincial Educational Authorities.
Professor Dou’s research mainly focuses on English education, legal translation, foreign language education, and basic educational theories. Her representative work Practical Philosophy of College English Teaching (2013), was selected into the Library of Achievements in Philosophy and Social Sciences of Universities by the Guangming Daily Press. She has published more than ten academic papers in such core journals as The Journal of Humanities, Legal Education Research, and Theory and Practice of Education. She has contributed to 5 textbooks and academic works as the chief editor, deputy editor or co-editor. In addition, she has presided over one provincial quality engineering project for elite resource-sharing course, and participated in the translation of journal articles of Wuhan University Law Review (2024) and the book Annual Report on China’s Practice in International Law Review (2024).
Professor Dou has received a number of academic awards, including a provincial first prize for outstanding teaching reform achievements and a third prize for excellent achievements in scientific research of higher education. She also won the first prizes in both the Third Classroom Teaching Innovation Competition of Shaanxi Province and the Second Classroom Teaching Innovation Competition of Northwest University of Political Science and Law. Furthermore, she has led two school-level teaching reform projects and participated in three provincial projects.
